About the Author
Dennis L. Hutchins was born and raised in the Western New York area of the United
States; a Native (Seneca) to these lands. His first foray in the direction of spirituality
came with his studies in the martial arts. After having spent 33 years involved in these
Eastern disciplines, he found the transition to yoga most natural. From these two
well-springs, he was drawn to the teaching of spiritual leaders found in both Native
(American) and Taoism thought. He attributes his journey to both his loving father,
Lenord, and to Dr. Leo Buscaglia, a renowned author and lecturer.
His love of nature and adventure have led him to five continents, absorbing the
cultures and honoring the people of these distant lands. It is from his many travels
that he often draws his understanding of a world far more abundant with life and joy.
